Description
Used in many Southeast Asian countries, the body is made of woods like jackfruit or coconut, the heads of buffalo- and goat-hide.
There are 2 main groups:
- The Java/Sunda set of 3 to 4 curve sided drums with heads of different sizes.
- The Bali set of two pairs of straight sided drums, both heads same size.
