This was originally supposed to be a co‐headlining tour with Sammy Hagar & The Circle and Whitesnake sharing the headliner’s slot, with Night Ranger as the opening act. However, Whitesnake pulled out after frontman David Coverdale announced he needed to undergo surgery for bilateral inguinal hernia. The tour dates remained on sale for some time after that, with only Sammy Hagar & The Circle and Night Ranger, but on May 19 the tour was cancelled outright.
